Swimming Pool

The Orchard Leisure Centre has 2 state of the art swimming pools, comprising a 6 lane, 25 metre Main Pool and a 12.5 metre learner pool.

The Main Pool is ideal for:

• recreational swimming
• fitness training
• injury recovery
• fun with friends

The Learner Pool with its warmer water is perfect for those being introduced to swimming or fun with the family.

The recent addition of Village style Changing offers abundant showering facilities, vanity areas and family changing areas along with 4 group changing rooms and extensive facilities for those with disabilities are also available.

Pool Closures

Due to a number of forthcoming events, the following Pool closures will be in effect at the Orchard Leisure Centre:

Fri 10th May from 9.00am – 4.30pm [Both Pools]
Mon 20th May from 9.30am – 12.15pm [Both Pools]
Fri 31st May from 7.30pm – 9.30pm [4 lanes – Main Pool]
Fri 7th June from 6.00pm – 9.00pm [Both Pools]
Tues 11th June from 9.30am – 12.30pm [Both Pools]
Fri 14th June from 3.00pm – 6.00pm [4 lanes – Main Pool]
Sat 15th June from 3.00pm – 6.00pm [Both Pools (Last Swim 2.00pm – 2.45pm)]

Swimming Times April – June 2013

Due to the Schools Swimming Programme, the Small Pool and 2/3 lanes of the Main Pool may be closed during the following times:
Mon – Fri: 9.20am – 12.20pm & 1.20pm – 3.00pm
