There are four Household Waste Recycling Centres located in Armagh City and District. Staff at the Centres will help you to find the recycling containers for your wastes.

Commercial Waste
All waste produced by your business or within your work place is regulated by waste laws.
These include a requirement to:
- Reduce the waste you send to landfill
- Separate your waste for recycling/reuse
- Ensure that you produce, store, transport and dispose of your business waste legally and without harming the environment.
Non-recyclable commercial waste brought to Armagh City and District Recycling Centres will be charged as follows:
- £25.00 per cubic metre equivalent
- £2.00 per black bin bag equivalent
Recyclable material is free of charge.
All business users must first register to use the Recycling Centre of their choice. This is free of charge and can be done by contacting a member of our Recycling Team on 028 3752 9624 or email recycling@armagh.gov.uk

Electrical goods (Games consoles/monitors/radios/TV’s/hairdryers/irons)
Garden wastes (leaves/hedge trimmings/grass/weeds/flowers)

Fluorescent tubes
Metals
Mobile phones
Oil and oil filters
Paper (newspapers/magazines/catalogues/envelopes)
Plastic bottles (shampoo, detergent, fizzy drinks, milk)
Printer cartridges
Spectacles
Textiles (used/unwanted)
White goods (cookers, fridges, washing machines)
Wood (clean)
Wheelie bins are not accepted at any of the above sites.
Unsorted waste being brought into the four Recycling Centres will be checked to ensure that there are no recyclable materials present. Only non-recyclable waste is permitted in the general waste compactor & skips.
