As part of this Bank Holiday weekend the Navan Centre & Fort, Armagh will be holding a fantastic Summer Festival promising the perfect day out for all the family.

We will bring the crafts and traditions of yesteryear back to life with demonstrations of blacksmithing, wood turning, pottery and displays of traditional crafts like corn craft.   Of course the highlight of the event will be an exhibition of vintage farm machinery.  For all the children we have an array of children’s games and storytelling to keep little fingers and toes busy.

With the harvest safely gathered the tradition is to feast on the ‘fruits’ of the land.   Not to break with tradition we have delicacies of locally produced food to sample.  The Navan Centre restaurant will be open with something tantalizing to tickle your taste buds.    Why not take a step back to yesteryear in the company of our Iron Age characters who will amaze you with their world renowned interactive performances.

With such a variety of traditions that you can touch and taste, there is sure to be fun for all the family at the Navan Centre & Fort in Armagh this summer.
