Armagh District Policing Partnership (DPP) was established in March 2003 as a partnership between the Council and representatives of the local community.
We can help you:
- Express your views on policing
- Raise issues and ask questions about local policing and crime
- Work together with the police to prevent crime
- Let you know how the police are performing against their targets
Armagh DPP does this in consultation with the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s (PSNI’s) Area Commander for Armagh District Command Unit (DCU).
Finding out the community’s views, concerns and policing needs enables the Area Commander to prioritise and deliver an effective and efficient service for the district. Consulting with the community about local policing is therefore an important role for DPPs.
Armagh DPP is dedicated to helping local people shape local policing.
