Design Proposals unveiled for Keady Community Centre
The proposed scheme will see the development of a new Community Centre on the site of the existing facility. The proposal is that the existing centre will be demolished and a new facility developed on this site. As part of the scheme there will also be additional environmental and open space development to reinvigorate the Glen area and ensure this area is better integrated with the new community facility and Keady town as a whole. In addition a new pavilion will be developed at Madden Row.

A wide range of groups use the centre including Breast Cancer Support Group, Gardening Clubs, Support Groups, Baby and Toddler Classes, Weight Loss Classes, Relaxation Classes and even Birthday Parties. To make a booking contact the Community Centre on the number above.
Parking is available for those using the Community Centre including 4 Blue Badge Spaces.
Opening Times
Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Wednesday 11.00am – 5.00pm
Friday 8.30am – 1.00pm
Saturday & Sunday – open for bookings only.
Opening Hours can differ during the week depending on bookings, contact the Community Centre for more information. The Centre can also open late for bookings.

- Main Hall depending on the room set up can hold up to 70- 80 people
- Coffee Lounge seats 24 (8 tables with 4 per table)
- Tea and Coffee making facilities are available
- Cooker and is ideal for cookery classes
- TV Lounge seats 14 (TV, Video and DVD Player available)
- Hairdressing Room for up 6 – 8 people
- Computer Suite 9 computers and 2 printers which are linked to Broadband

- Main Hall £9.50 per hour for non commerical, £13.80 per hour for commerical
- Coffee Lounge £9.00 per hour for non commerical, £10.30 per hour for commerical
- TV Lounge £8.00 per hour for non commerical, £8.70 per hour for commerical
- Computer Suite £11.00 per hour for non commerical, £21.00 per hour for commerical
- Hairdressing Room £7.00 per hour for non commerical, £8.20 per hour for commerical
